What is Ghostface Changer?
An independent browser tool for Ghostface-style horror voice effects. Upload or record a short clip, process it, then preview and download. Demo mode produces a test tone only.
Is this an official Scream product?
No. This independent fan-oriented tool is not affiliated with Scream, Paramount, Spyglass, or related trademark owners.
Does it sound exactly like the actor?
No exact likeness is promised. A horror voice filter is a creative effect, not an authentic actor performance.
How much does it cost?
One free trial per visitor network per UTC day, up to 8 seconds. The main pack is $4.99 for 20 credits; the optional pack is $9.90 for 50 credits. Paid clips can be up to 120 seconds. All voices are included. Each started 30 seconds costs one credit, charged only for successful conversion. Generating again is charged at the same duration rate.
Are payments open?
One-time credit packs use Waffo checkout. Current availability is shown on the pricing page. Credits are added only after verified payment; a return redirect alone does not grant credits.
Do I need an account?
No registration is required. A browser wallet uses an HttpOnly cookie. Keep your recovery code privately to restore access.
What happens if conversion fails?
Reserved credits or free quota are released on failure. Expired reservations are released by the Durable Object alarm.
How long can my audio be?
Free clips can be up to 8 seconds, once per visitor network per UTC day. Paid clips can be up to 120 seconds. The server validates actual WAV duration and reserves a credit atomically before conversion.
Is my recording stored?
Audio is processed transiently and is not written to the billing ledger. Live processing sends it to the configured provider, whose retention policy also applies.
Can I make prank calls?
Do not use this tool for harassment, threatening calls, fraud, impersonation or misleading claims of identity. Use it for consensual creative projects.
Does it work on phones?
The browser interface supports uploads and microphone recording on compatible mobile browsers. Microphone access needs permission and HTTPS or localhost.
Is there an APK or hardware mask?
No APK or official mask hardware is sold here. This is a web tool.
Can I type text to generate speech?
Text-to-speech and custom soundboard generation are planned. Phase one accepts audio only; no text generation is claimed.
What is demo mode?
With VOICE_PROVIDER=demo, the response is a short audible test tone. It is explicitly labelled and does not transform your speech.
